Contra-Mestre Arthur Fiu, from São Paulo, Brazil, is one of the most well-known capoeira athletes in the world. He has traveled the globe competing, teaching and sharing the Afro-Brazilian arts of capoeira, samba de roda and coco de roda. He is a two-time world champion, and has earned national and regional titles. CM Arthur Fiu lives in California, overseeing the FIU branch in Pasadena in partnership with Remainders Creative Reuse.
