Ornaments for Altadena

As winter approaches, many in Altadena are preparing for their first holiday season after losing everything, including cherished, irreplaceable treasures. In a special gesture of solidarity, Altadena  block captains and community members are gathering donations from all over the world. They are vintage, handcrafted, and uniquely beautiful holiday decorations — each accompanied by a personal note of hope or a cherished seasonal story.

Donate Something Special

Ornaments, stars, menorahs and kinaras are being accepted. Meaningful, handcrafted or vintage items with a short note about their history or why they were picked will offer extra comfort and connection.

Choose New Treasures

At Winter Bloom, families who lost collections in the Eaton Fire may choose several new-to-them pieces, free of charge, to help rekindle traditions of decorating the holiday season once more.

Community Curated

A small group of fire survivors is coming together to bring a little light to this difficult season. They hope to bring holiday objects to the people of Altadena that they could not easily replace themselves
