Ornaments for Altadena

As winter approaches, many in Altadena are preparing for their first holiday season after losing everything, including cherished, irreplaceable treasures. In a special gesture of solidarity, Altadena  block captains and community members have gathered donations from all over the world. They are vintage, handcrafted, and uniquely beautiful holiday decorations — each accompanied by a personal note of hope or a cherished seasonal story.

Donated with Love

Ornaments, stars, menorahs and kinaras from around the world were collected. Meaningful or vintage items with a short note about why they were picked accompany many and offer comfort.

New Treasures

At Winter Bloom, registered families who lost collections in the Eaton Fire will choose several new-to-them pieces, free of charge, to rekindle traditions of decorating the holiday season once more.

Community Curated

A small group of fire survivors is working to bring a little light to this difficult season. They hope to bring holiday objects to the people of Altadena that they could not easily replace themselves
